WOW... this story is amazing! I truly appreciate the work you put into this, including finding out about currencies and all those gypsy stuffs. I find myself lost in the moment, lost during that time. I panicked when Spike threw the medallion onto the ground though. What does that mean? What is it used for? Amazing amazing amazing. It's so beautiful, even though it was laced with angst. Although Dru's words were not as cutting as I thought it would be, nonetheless I suppose it would be for someone younger, alone and terrified, having no way of knowing Dru's intentions and what her future may bring.

Author's Response: Rememebr Dru is a product of her times as are everyone in this story. There will be more history on her later, but she was raised as a lady, and in those times one simply wasn't rude, so her behavior is actually somewhat cutting in comparission to what would be considered acceptable. I'm trying to temper her just a bit to make her mannerisms one of a 16th century lady even though she is evil now. Also, she hasn't been ignored to any huge degree in favor of Buffy... yet. Watch for more fireworks as that begins to happen. Thank you very much for your continued reviews and your opinions.

OK... what can I say. First of all, I was kinda confused at first because names were not given out and I had quite a time following the conversation. Then I was like, "huh? Karli SUMMERS?" and even though everything cleared up by the first half, the second half with Spike and his accountants were equally confusing as well, again... names not given out at first. But underneath all this, I still enjoyed your first chapter and could tell it's going to be a good one...
