OMG, are you serious? Of course I appreciate when you read and respond to the reviews. I think it's wonderful when an author takes time to respond, it kind of helps answer questions or figure some things out. I often read all reviews and responses so that I'm not redundant in asking something. I really wish more authors like yourself and greyangel did as such. It's more of an incentive to leave reviews when the author cares enough to comment back - no offense of course to those that don't. Every author has different circumstances w/ daily life responsibilities and all. I just think it makes for a nice 'connection' if you will... building the relationship of author/reader. You are very thoughtful.

Yes, of course your right (concerning my last review), the baby's behavior towards Buffy and Spike would be a spoiler if you answered my question. Guess I was just projecting some wishful thinking there. Still, I'm glad you have such an evil Spike here, even after Buffy tried to explain herself. I love how he is just clueless with a captol 'C'. Give me tons of dark angst and I'll come back begging for another 'crumb'. The more polar they are the more I look forward to seeing how and what circumstances will bring them together.

Yes, Spike 'deserved' this in a way... to know his unlife isn't like burger king - 'have it your way', that he cannot control everything, lol. And I love love love the way you threw that in there about him feeling the 'pull' from his mate. It's a tidbit of what's to come that will hopefully bring out the William in him later. Love how you're developing Druiscilla's character too (she's so lovelably HATEABLE in this - you did a great job.) Though I'm sure he won't put her in her place for it when they do talk, it makes for an interesting future of her treatment towards Buffy. (god I love seeing that b^%ch get put her in her place) so I hope she at leasts gets a tongue lashing. I like me some Angelus too, though I'm surprised to see him in such a submissive tole - you probably have great things in store for his character as well.

I wonder, do you have any plans for Lucian - concerning Buffy? To describe what happened seems to leave room for something bad to happen - which I don't mind at all, the more danger the better. And yes one more question, did I interpret your story correctly when I came to the conclusion that Spike and Dru have a sexually inappropriate relationship being siblings and all? Something you wrote about... and come back to her bed where he belonged. I mean major ick factor but hey, vampire remember? I don't mind reading that kind of stuff at all I'm just wondering if there is a dark sibling secret of sex that will serve a purpose. I know you can't give much away, and I wouldn't want you too. I was so happy to click on recently added and find I would be one of the first few to review. You're one of the 'greats' as far as dark fic so I've been following with enthusiasm.

Author's Response: Loved your review. You really made me laugh with some of your comments. Especially loved the 'have it your way' phrase. Yes, having your shiny boots vomited on is not having it your way is it? I do so love writing Drusilla too. I kind of feel that I've gotten a bit too far away from her insanity in her little actions, but hope in the wide scheme of things it's still obvious that's she's off her rocker. It's fun to write fan fiction but sometimes I also like to bend a character my way. As for her and Spike. Oh yeah, they have been doing the nasty. No morals here. Just good old brother and sister love. It's one reason she is so very possessive and jealous. Buffy is a huge rival. Thank you so much for your review. It was wonderful. I hope I can continue to entertain you with my work.

I'm actually pleased that Spike has realized (in his own way) that what he liked about Buffy is no longer there and it's all his own fault... can't have your cake and eat it too. Of course his anger is misdirected towards her when it should be himself, but at least he had the common sense to leave the room before lashing out at her. Glad Thalia is still coming around also. I hope Buffy isn't really sick during the whole pregnancy like this, or is it that she will be b/c of the type of pregnancy and that it could be accelerated rather than 9 months long... hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I know I know, no spoilers. Wouldn't want it anyway, I like surprises. Love the old hag Enid, and thankful she is so dedicated to Spike. Let's just hope her info for Spike is taken well and that he handles the situation before it errupts into something bad for Buffy. Author's Response: Yes, Muse is more demanding than Drusilla though not nearly as mad or as bitchy. Spike is coming to see the truth, and though he finds it quite ugly, it is staring him in the face none the less. He has no idea how to handle all these strange emotions, so he of course, turns his confusion into rage and directs it at the easiest victim. As for Enid, yes, she uis loyal, but what of Drusilla/ She is a friend too, and the one who first brought her into the castle. What will Enid do if her heart is puled in two directions? As for your last comments about men... well I don't want to piss anyone off. Let's just say I was divorced a year ago and leave it at that shall we? Thanks for your wonderful review. I always look forward to them. You manage to see all I'm trying to get across. Take care.

OMG, I was riveted. My heart was pounding right along with hers the whole time (not lying here)... I couldn't read fast enough. Boy did she ever mouth off to him. I mean maybe if she'd held her tongue on a couple things it might have gone smoother, but I understand the need for what you wrote and I was truly impressed. So much can be read inbetween the lines of each of their dialogue's it's crazy. It's like they both contradict themselves where Spike is concerned. He with his 'feelings', and then with his denial of any. Same goes for her. The apologies and such, so very uncharacteristic - it's the claim thing here for sure. But did Enid really declare her safe to bed??? Somehow I think not. Very interesting that she's become 'stronger' inside when it comes to him touching her - especially without touching the bitemarks - that she couldn't get wet for him this time, and the feelings ran soooo very strongly through her he felt them too and knew he couldn't do anything to sway her - physically at least (without touching his mark. All she did was lay there, yup, sounds like he's truly broken her, and to think it "hurt him deeply" - WOW.
He sounded like such a kid when he grabbed her, kissed her, then said 'now I'm through with you'. LOL, sounds similiar to something one of my kids would do with a toy or whatever. I'm really surprised that after all that she's actually trying to get out of the castle again - seems like she has a death wish aside from needing a shower. There's something I have to say, but don't want to here, AND, there's something I want to show you that I think you might appreciate. Therefore I'll email you and just end here saying what a wonderful tale you've weaved so far. I'm wrapped up and can't wait to see how it is at all possible for these two to be any form of spuffy in the end. Keep up the great work.

Author's Response: Glad I stirred such emotion and well, Buffy can't very well hold her tongue. Her fire is all she has left in her dark life. Yes the claim is working its magic on both of them. It is alos causing confusion, especially in Spike and anything he feels, he turns to rage because that is what he understands. As for Buffy, she had been through so very very much that this final degradation by the man who had been posing as a galant husband for the past few weeks was too much. Her body shut down and wouldn't respond. To say she was not in the mood is putting it lightly. Yes the claim would have cut through that, but Spike saw that as a bad thing. Hell, he is a master lover as well as vampire and that can be rationalized too right? Why use tricks? That is an act he won't be able to question to closely. Why did he give her a break in regards to her dignity by not making her have enjoyment? And yes, the end, well I teach little ones and yeah, what a selfish child he was. Had to have the last word and play one up. Okay, I've rambled here and I probably haven't made sense. I am so upset about the pictures not opening! Thanks for keeping on trying.
