Hmmm... So, I'm wondering if this is a turning point or if Buffy and Spike will revert to their old ways in the morning. Liam being gone the whole weekend bodes well for them to build a *little* something...but who knows.
The fight between Spike and Buffy was painful. They are so *raw* with one another. Glad that Spike walked out on Dru. I had honestly forgotten about her during Buffy and Spike's fight :P.
Spike begging Buffy to meet him...*sigh* again with the rawness. I ache for these two! I can't wait to see what the morning will bring.

Wow. First off - yay for the update! I know you've been busy, so I've finally accepted the fact that your updates won't be as regular...and now BAM! I totally wasn't expecting this update - and I've had *such* a terrible day. This just...*sigh*....made me feel so much better.
And then, I actually read it. I thought there might be a turning point, but woah. I'm so happy that they were in the same room for more than 2 minutes without trying to kill one another. :P
This chapter was incredibly sweet - and I'm so glad Buffy told Spike the truth about their first time together.
I know there's more angst comin' - and I love your brand of angst anyway - but this chapter was a nice little break from the drama.
Now there's Angel (and possibly Dru) to deal with.
Can't wait to see what's next!

I'm glad Buffy was honest with him - I expected her to keep her secret a while longer. And I'm so very glad that it wasn't "just about the money". Glad that Buffy isn't that shallow. And her confession: I am his whore. She's so pitiful I just ache for her.
This Spike and Buffy are connected in ways I haven't seen in other incarnations. Liam's abuse seems to have bonded them together very quickly, and *strongly*. I'm afraid for the two of them. Liam is sinister and when he finds out... *shudder*.
So, anyways - thanks for the update. (And such a sweet one too - with Spike carrying her to the tub and all.) And while you're trying to do so much just remeber those of us who've read your work for *years* (and I'm talkin' waaaay back to your Romy-writin' days) appreciate every syllable of your fics. This fic is so carefully constructed that I feel like I could peel away each layer. It's wonderful to read something that has been so carefully and lovingly put together.
