Oh dead. There's the Spike we know and love, jumping to the wrong conclusions. And I'm really interested to know how Buffy reacts to Willow. ( I forsee Spike's happiness at HER contentment at having him back and then watching that all shatter when she realizes he was a typical male and acted before he really thought about it.) But I love this story, and all of your others as well.
Author's Response: Oh boy did he ever. All he sees is Lucian's hands on 'His' mate. Not a good thing. The whole situation Willow included may cloud Buffy's contentedness at first and she will not see the wisdom of his ways. There is the whole matter of the beating to be gotten to as well. So much to do now that he is home, but first, forst there is the matter of the little scene before him. Thanks for saying that about all my work. I appreciate it hun. Glad I can entertain you with my imagination.

I like Willow/Lucien. I think they're going to be fun, and it's nice to have a break from one couple; it breaks up the monotomoy, you know? I'm hoping Willow and Lucien get down and dirty in a *fun* way ;) And give your muse a cookie from me.

I like Willow and Lucien; I can see what an integral part they're going to play in Buffy and Spike's relationship, as well as Spike's growth. And I'm glad someone's finally noticed the weird behavior of Dru's pet.

Something tells me that this guy is going to be problematic. And I wonder what happened to that medallion. hhmmm. Great update, can't wait for the next chapter.
Author's Response: Oh he may try but Willow is strong. Lucian won't take any crap from him either. Time will tell though. As for the medallion, Spike tore it from Buffy's neck the night he took her and tossed it to the ground and the little girl apparently found it sometime later. Does she still have it??? We shall see. Well i certainly wouldn't mind. As to Willow...me thinks the lady doth protest too much. I like Lucien and Willow. Very nice dynamic there.
Author's Response: I don't think any of us would hun. Hannah deserves it, though she is more stupid than anything else. Willow doth protest but she has her reasons. she has a freedom in the castle that women didn't have then and has never experienced any type of physical pleasure either so sees no beefit from chaining herself to Lucian. Oh, I understand exactly why she took Hannah's side; that little maid is a bit more conniving/smart than we gave her credit for. But I hope Dru and Angel aren't able to interrupt Spike and Buffy's reconciliation any more...they've been working hard to get where they already are. And Lucien...well, I likes him ;)
Author's Response: Thank you. She has not been privy to all the conversations and the glimpses into Spike's feelings that we have and she doesn't fully trust him yet. Hannah may not be as smart as you think. I mean yes, she seems to have found refuge, but come on, she has sided with Drusilla. Sorry for the late reply here. The new chappie is up. Thanks hun.

I can't help but think that Buffy being wrong about Hannah is going to be a good thing in the long run; proof that Spike really does have her interest at heart and isn't going around terrorizing the helpless. And I'm liking Willow more and more in the story. When are we going to see some Willow-Lucien lovin' ? ;)
Author's Response: You could be right. She will feel VERY guilty over this whole thing and realize just how stupid she has behaved. As for Willow and lucian, they are working towards each other but Spike is the roadblock there. Lucian wouldn't go against vampire law and take Willow without Spike's permission and well, right now isn't the time to ask. Thanks.
