I have been agonizing over how I am going to review this since it popped up on the feed. It just rawks my socks everytime. The fight between Spike and Angel has me biting my nails. I really felt bad for Jenner during the fallout of Glynnis' dusting, but in all honesty, I still sided with him despite Hawkins' broken heart.

Willow is so far gone now. There seems to be nothing rational left of her. However, what really intrigued me this chapter was the Huntsman. He has been so peripheral up until this point. But it is clear he knows so much more and I am dying to see how he and his charges are going to play a part in this. It so wonderful that so far into this saga that while I can't wait to see how it ends, there are still things that suprise me and excite me.

I really can't wait for more. I am always delirious over a new chapter from a favorite author. Thanks for the update!

Oh thank god you didn't have any smut in this chapter....if you had combined that with the designer name dropping and non-stop shopping, I would have passed out cold dragging my laptop down off the table with me and whacking my head hard enough to require stitches and rendering me a poster child for a public service announcement about the dangers of reading fic without proper safety equipment.

Shopping fun with the uber cool Lorne! Yay! This was a great, fun, light chapter. You managed to fit a thoughtful Buffy into a day of relaxation. I loved her inner monolouge and how you explained her hasty behavior. I sympathized with her and actually found myself understanding her reasoning behind her flight. Again, I say, good instinct in giving them both time to cool off and consider the events at Grisanti's. Excellent. I can't wait for more and to see what Buffy has up her sleeve.

Cute breakfasty goodness! I loved how easily they go from hot 'n heavy to easy banter. It was just so damn cute and sexy. I am in love with these two. It did make me a little sad that Spike is still hung up on insecurities that he won't come clean with Buffy, but all in good time, I am sure.

Yeha, I wanted to have them understand, as well as the reader, that they are meant for one another through a semi-normal day (given the circumstances that is). Yes, it is too bad SPike/William is stil insecure, but this is all still too new to him, especially seeings that he's admitted to himself he's in love. His first boig step forward is that he's determined to quit working for Lorne and of course pursue Buffy when he has the money for the restaurant. So we're moving forward slowly, but rest assured, all will unfold at the right time for these two. Thanks for your patience sweety and of course the lovely review. Awww, they connected! I loved it! I also really like the brush off Buffy gave Riley. I am one of the minority that didn't much care for Willow. I found her character to be meddlesome, and lacking contrition. Both her and Xander always seems to get a free pass, so I really liked that your Buffy has recognized that Willow has crossed the line right away. This Buffy seems to have a stronger sense of self, and I really like it.

Mostly I really like her interaction with Spike, and how she's quickly accepting their situation, and is open to understanding it more. I'm very excited for the next chapter. You write so well, and have such fresh ideas. I also like how your chapter lengths are hearty, and not the two or three paragraphs that seem to have become common among new writers. It makes it worth the wait.

Author's Response: First of all, thank you so so much for this lovely review! I'm glad you like the way I write, that is a huge compliment to me. Sometimes I feel my chapters can range on the short side, but I try to not let that happen very often, and I'm so glad you liked this chapter. As for Buffy having a stronger sense of self, I always think she had a very good sense of self, but I do believe in certain areas of the show and her life she had doubts that sometimes got in the way of her happiness. I personally try to write her in fanfiction by either focusing on season 1-Buffy or season 7-Buffy, or a combination of the two. I feel Buffy was very innocent and hardly cynical in season 1, which I like. And I feel she was extremely mature, well grounded, and open-minded in season 7, which I also like. Obviously, there are so many facets of Buffy Summers and she is always amazing, but when I write her I really like to try and capture the character she was in the latest season of the show. In this fic that is what I am trying to do, along with some added innocence, which I believe she could easily have in her character since she is not a slayer and did not have to deal with many of the fallouts and heartbreaks that job brought her. And as for Willow, Buffy and her are close friends in this, but not as close as they were in the TV show. Plus, Buffy is dealing with her want for Spike, so another man coming into her life right now would manage to irritate her. I hope you continue to enjoy this fic, and I am so grateful for the review, and I love that you love the way I'm writing Buffy, I try hard to stay in character when writing her.Thank you so much for reading! *hugs*
