This story just keeps getting better! I really like the way you portray Buffy's feelings , remorse, and guilt for their past relationship. Some of her thoughts might be a little oversaturated in the Spuffy genre, but you add a nice extra "oomph" to it, making it not a cliche but your own. The part where she begged him to drink from her gave me chills... so much added meaning and symbolism in that, especially if you consider the reminiscence of Graduation Day. Buffy would do anything for Angel, and it looks like she'll do anything for Spike now. And that's something that I've always wanted to see. Very well done!

Continuing on my rampant splurge of reviewing this amazing fic, I just wanted to again state that this is absolutely brilliant. I was thinking about writing a Post-NFA story before I read this because I hadn't really had my "fill" for that type of ending, but you've just gone above and beyond in quenching my thirst. Excellent work! My favorite WIP by far. Every time I see a new chapter I squeal in happiness. And awesome chapter again. I love the little ideas you get for your writing to make it more humorous, like the "bleeding heart attack" and "bold, italisized, the whole nine yards." I love how we don't now how Spike really feels here and it makes Buffy uncertain about him. It makes her want him more (and possible more than just lust) because she thinks he's only using her as a substitute. The "makes me feel like a woman" angle from Buffy's POV is believable and experty done. Just fantastic work, please write more! ;)

That was fantastic. So sorrowful, so deep, so hopeless. This piece just oozes sadness, I don't think a comedian could read this in a happy or funny way. It's a worthy explanation of Buffy's affairs with The Immortal. It also depicts Buffy's feelings without Spike quite well. And the simple, telegraphic sentences hold such power and meaning. I especially liked the end: "Not even dust."
Summary: Every relationship as a history, a story. This is ours. (Warning: This fic will get very dark, Spike will not be you're favorite person throughout the darker chapters. But this story is altogether Spuffy. This story just explores the darker side to relationships.)

Great ending to a great fic. The ending was like four great happy Spuffy moments in a row. ;D At first I thought it might be a little rushed, but I felt completely satisfied with the Spuffiness. Spectacular work; every word had so much depth and beauty and really hit the nail right on the head. I'd absolutely LOVE it if you did something similar to this for other Spuffy moments, like the times right before the closing of the Hellmouth and maybe after the rape. But, damn, that first paragraph made me wish I could write something as beautiful and deep and spot-on as that. Just awesome!
