Glad to see that you updated! I've been missing this story! I am unsure about Spike's mom spilling the secrets to his past and not Spike himself. That would irritate me in the same situation, just saying. Still a great update though!

Read this update a little while ago, but didn't have time to leave a review. Couldn't let a fellow writer not get all the response they deserve, right? Great story, I really enjoyed the plot line, characterization (especially of Spike, well done) as well as the extremely talented creativity of alternate worlds. I often wondered while reading this why there weren't more reviews. Seems strange to me since I, personally, think this is a great story and should get more recognition than it did. Anyway, looking forward to more from you! Keep up the great work!
Author's Response: Thank you. It's very nice of you to take the time. I'm a little surprised about the lack of reviews too, considering how popular the prequel was. However, readers come and go and it was posted so long ago that many readers probably haven't read it. This one wasn't all that Spuffy for quite a while, either. :) Anyway, the reviews I have received have all been very thoughtful and positive, so it's all good! :)

Glad to have you back, babes! Poor Spike, Buffy is being a right bitch about the situation. I loved the scene where Dawn put her in her place, or at least tried to make Buffy remove her head from her arse. Thankfully, someone in the Summer's family has some sense. Of course, I'm sure that Joyce would say the same thing if she was able. Hmm...maybe a miraculous recovery for dear old Mom so that she can help Buffy see the error of her ways?

I've had this story on my favorites list for a while now waiting for that lovely completed mark to appear so that I could read it. However, my plans fell through when I got really bored last night and decided to go ahead and give in to temptation.
And, boy...am I glad that I did! This is just a brilliant story, so well written and imaginative, that I couldn't stop reading until after 5 this morning! Since I didn't have time to review then, was getting off work, I made a note to come back and let you know how much I am enjoying this story. The intensity and passion in not only your characters, but your writing style, seriously had me tearing up more than once with both saddness and overwhelming awe.
