This is brilliant, cerebral and intense writing. A great companion to "The Heart of Her", although this certainly stands on its on as well. The intricate way the symbols and sense memories are weaved into the narrative is very a daring (and totally successful) experiment, which becomes even more engaging the second read through. This is definitely one of the best short formats I've come across here.
