Bio:
I started reading Spuffy when I was on bed rest last year, pregnant with my first baby. I was on bed rest for what seemed like forever, so I read ALOT of spuffy.
Imagine my surprise to find that I was completely hooked, even when I could leave my bedroom again.
My two favorite stories are "My Life Closed Twice" by Anaross and "The Last Summer" by Annie Sewell-Jennings. If you haven't read them yet, go! Read! Ana's is at the Just Rewards archive and The Last Summer is at All About Spike.
Those two are amazing writers. Their characters are fleshed out and believable and their stories are moving and I just couldn't stop reading. (I don't know either of them, btw :)

Uh oh, Katie works for Wolfram and Hart? Oh....and Buffy finds out she loves Spike, that's good.
Can't wait to see what happens next :)
Author's Response: And the drama continues *dun dun dun* I hope to update soon...

Ohhh...darn Giles. Bad timing. Poor Spike. Katie bringing out the "I love you" card was just low! Well, unless she means it...
Author's Response: If she didn't mean it then why whould she go through so much to be with him. She does. Thanks!

Oh, Spike's leaving ...and Buffy's pregnant. Huh. Need another chapter now! :)
Author's Response: I will try to update soon. Sorry for such a horrible clifhanger!

Uh oh, apocalypse directly pitting Katie against Buffy and poor Spike caught in the middle, unaware. Hope someone can find him to get word to him. :)
Author's Response: How very wrong of me!

Hope your real life stuff gets resolved and things are better for you. Rotten Katie, not telling Spike about the phone call. Maybe he'll notice the number the next time he uses the phone.
Author's Response: Thanks jnharrow, I try to be optimistic about stuff. Yeah, that will more then likely not turn out too well for Katie. Thanks for the review!

Loved the fruit scene with William feeding Buffy and the contrast between their differing hungers.
Interesting world. Poor Buffy, birthdays aren't much better for her in this world than in the show, huh?

Oh, love the update. I'm enjoying this story very much. It's an interesting and new setting. I'm glad they finally got to see each other again and that he tried to rescue her from his mother in even the small way he did at breakfast. I hope she gets to spend more time in the house and less in the laundry. Can't wait for an update. Now you have me hooked on all your stories, darn it. Can't you uh...ingest a large dose of caffeine (or several) and update all of your stories? C'mon, you don't need sleep this weekend, you know you don't. :)

Poor William, so jealous of Buffy's new friend. I like how you've made growing up in the upper class just as lonely and possibly more isolating than the lower one.
Author's Response: Exactly! They're both miserable, but he's just got more money. (and less physical labour, I'll admit) Thanks for your insight hun

His plan is so going to go to pieces. He likes her too much and they have the karate in common. Wow, 11 previous conquests in the same dorm - kinda tough to keep that from turning ugly.

Haha, love that Xander references Shrek, Willow comes back with Beowulf and Buffy: “We had a Winter Reading list?”
Tweedless day was funny too :)
Spike's such a cute baby dragon.
Author's Response: =D Thank you. I do want to have my fair share of comedy in this fic, and that's actually pretty easy to do with Xander and Willow. And, yes, Spike is an adorable baby dragon. Small, determined, and blue. ;)
Date: 08/09/2007 Title: Chapter 2: Savin' Me
Haha. I love that Buffy is torn between ogling Spike and panicking over the oral report at the same time. Good to know she's adept at multi-tasking. So brilliant that she schedules him for the same classes to "keep an eye on him." Smart thinking, that!
It's so sweet of Spike to save her, though slightly less sweet to choose the passage that he did! Though of course, that is one of the uglier ways women are degraded in the book, so I guess he was just following the teacher's instruction. Do kids really read things like The Handmaid's Tale in high school these days? Wow, things have changed since I last had a reading list, lol. Very interesting book. Spike must have eclectic tastes to have read it. But I may be being sexist in mentally deeming it a book that would be more interesting to women than men.
Author's Response: Hehe, it's like... "oh my god, I have this oral report I haven't studied and... ooo, pretty." She is a pretty smart person, too, though she doesn't have the self-esteem to know it (yet, and that's something our blonde boy will show her). The passage was meant to be as gritty as possible, I dunno why I did that but it just seemed to fit. And yes, I read The Handmaid's Tale for my senior year of high school (AP class, though). Really depends if you have the type of teacher that I had. Some teachers use the banned book list as their reading list. :) Definitely trying to interpolate Spike as having eclectic taste with the choice of book (this will be later expanded to music and films and beyond when the time arises). THT is no Epic of Gilgamesh. And you are being sexist, because I'm a male and I found the book incredibly fascinating. I could just possibly be in the minority, though, because I consider all cautionary tales and feminism fascinating (even 3rd wave feminism like *gasps* Buffy). I'd guess most Buffy fans would cite an interest as feminism. Thank you for reviewing. :D

I wonder what Hannah is doing wandering around alone every day. Good thing Spike found her. Interesting beginning, I'm looking forward to reading more. :)
Author's Response: That's very nice to hear, thank you! :)
Date: 08/05/2007 Title: Chapter 2: Meeting mommy
Wonder how they'll meet up again. On to the next chapter to see!
Author's Response: You'll find out soon. Thanks for reviewing!
Date: 08/05/2007 Title: Chapter 3: Apologies
Oh, I'm glad she had a chance to apologize. I can relate to Buffy's problem in the supermarket, lol. It's tough to be short! :) I'm enjoying this story.
Author's Response: Thank you! *lol* Yeah, being short can be a real bitch sometimes. :)
Date: 08/05/2007 Title: Chapter 4: Dinner preparations
Too funny how Buffy got Hannah to clean her room. I wonder what happened to destroy Buffy and Cordy's friendship.
Author's Response: The reason for that will be explained later on. :)
Date: 08/05/2007 Title: Chapter 5: Dinner - and twenty questions
Yes, she should certainly keep him! Heh, you've got writing kids down pat, that's for sure, with the blunt questions and embarrassing Buffy.
Author's Response: Yeah, he's a keeper, alright. :) Thank you! :)
Date: 08/05/2007 Title: Chapter 6: Getting to know you
Ok, I can't not leave a review, because I really enjoyed the chapter, but I hope you'll understand when I say I really just want to hit the next arrow and see what happens on the date! (oops...pardon me, not-a-date)
Author's Response: *lol* Thanks for reviewing anyway! :)
Date: 08/05/2007 Title: Chapter 7: A day at the zoo
Oh, I forgot to mention last chapter, it was very cute that Hannah wanted a pet tub-dwelling rhino instead of something cute and cuddly. Of course Spike is there to stay :)
Author's Response: Hehe! I thought it would be funny if she wanted something really unusual for a pet. :)
Date: 08/05/2007 Title: Chapter 8: Bonding
"...you can be my new daddy.” “You don’t want to be my daddy, do you?” etc. ---Hannah is frighteningly manipulative when she wants something isn't she? LOL, it's lucky she chooses to use her teary-eyed powers of persuasion for good! Spike had noooo chance of getting out of that one.
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing!
Date: 08/05/2007 Title: Chapter 9: A bloody idiot
You're right, it was a fun chapter. Hehe, Spike's all scared she'll turn him down and she's so eager she wants to make it tomorrow. Cute.
Author's Response: Thank you, I'm glad you think so! :)
Date: 08/05/2007 Title: Chapter 10: Doubts
Darn it, I've caught up. No chapter with the date yet :( I'm sad. Sweet of Willow to offer to babysit. Looking forward to the next update!
Author's Response: Thanks, I'll try to update again tomorrow.
Date: 10/13/2007 Title: Chapter 11: The truth hurts
Poor Spike. I don't know which is worse, thinking what he thought before about Drusilla or knowing the truth about her and the possible truth about the baby now.
