This was an amazing story that was written beautifully. Glad that Buffy and Spike decided to leave and head out on their own. And using the poem at the the end was funny. This was a great fic, and I'm glad you decided to share.

Summary: Takes place in an AU where things went a little differently at the end of "What's My Line", and the Initiative came to town a bit earlier than in canon.

I think the answer is a resounding yes, you DO still have an audience. I had a feeling this was going to happen sooner or later, Spike hurting Buffy just a little to much after he's let the demon out to play. I also have a feeling that she's going to find out about the feeding too. She doesn't seem to connect the dots, feeding with killing the people he feeds from. But Buffy's not stupid, and eventually she's going to figure it out. Totally awesome chapter, I love the way you're moving things along. Can't wait for the next update!

That's so sad that William must leave because of some stupid preconceived notion of honor. He loves Buffy, and would like to stay with her. But those are the times they live in. I hope that things go well when the go to the Thing, and expose Maggie for the bitch she is, sheltering one who shouldn't be sheltered.
