I like this! Happy that Buffy realises she loves Spike and I like her different point of view at the attempted rape. If I can suggest some changes though, I would've written the words "He had hurt the girl" and "Ask me again why I could never love you" in italics instead of big letters. I think it gives the story better atmosphere, but that's just my opinion. I look forward for the next chapter!

I began to read this story today and want to tell you that I'm enjoying it.
I wonder what happened to Buffy? Surprised though that no one called the ambulance before Spike showed up.
So Spike is a "one man's woman" now, what will Buffy say when she hears that. She'll be ready to kiss and make up? I'll just have to wait and see :)

Happy ending! Yay! I was a bit worried a while back with Harmony and all that ;)

It was fun really fun to read from Spike's POV and you managed to catch his voice quite well. You made me smile a couple of times with it too ;)

Even though Buffy's realisation that she had done something wrong came very suddenly, I loved the ending. Good work!

Oh, claimage, do I dare to hope...? ;) I enjoyed the chapter, but I think there is going to be some Willow/Faith, even though W told F to stop. Happy that Buffy sees she isn't the only Slayer who has fallen in love with a vamp.

This was really interesting, I liked it when B vamped out. That's cool. Actually I'm starting to hope a little that B will get up her strength and when they come back to Sunnydale she'll kick Faith's ass when they're sparring. But that's just "personal" wishes, lol.

So it's over. I was a bit surprised actually when I saw that this was completed, it feels like it was just yesterday I sent you that e-mail... But then again, I remember you telling me that this would be 19 chapters and you've been posing regulary so really - I shouldn't be surprised.

Well, this is an absolutely great ending of a great story! You're a good writer and you manage to tie the story together very nicely, not forgetting any threads. I think you're staying true to the characters most of the time, and I really liked seeing Faith and Willow ending up together :) And how B looked back at her and Spike and had learned something from that experience. Torch was a favorite in the story too, because he felt truly unique. I wish you could've let us get to know him better, but I also understand why you had to let him go. I see it as a final way to prove that unsouled vampires truly does feel and care.

For the ending. I actually have to say that it felt like you rushed things a little, in the rest of the story (what i can remember) you're not summarizing at all. And all of sudden you have written out their whole trip to Paris in barely half a chapter. It makes me a little disappointed, though the ending made up for it. I'm happy to see Spuffy, as always :) And I love claims, liked that B took the initiaive.

Author's Response: I'm really glad you enjoyed the story. Thanks for letting me know. I felt like I needed to gloss over the Paris trip for a couple of reasons. One is that I spent two chapters describing touristy stuff about their time in London and I didn't want to bog down the story anymore. Two. I could go on and on about Paris as I was a foreign exchange student there as a teen. I loved the experience so much that I feared the story would disolve into a Mary Sue story if I allowed myself to describe any more than I did. : )

I remember reviewing this in the beginning, but then I must have missed a whole bunch of updates. How could that happen?! Well, I'm really enjoying the story :) And now I had a lot to read!

Happy ending, yay :) I really liked your story and the way the characters acted, Spike's line "Wanna check" - good one!
