Oh, wow. How wonderfully dark and disturbing. I can see how it would be a hard chapter to write, Spike having to go through the pain of inflicting torture when it's such an antithesis to who he is at the core, and Buffy enduring that immense pain for what she thinks is love. Have to say, don't think Angelus will be taking very good care of her, and it breaks my heart. Can't wait to see how the story progresses further, this is shaping up to be an incredible read.

GOD I love this fic. Like, seriously, I saw there was an update and SQUEALED. And it was totally worth the wait. I love the slow evolution of their relationship---sure it's not following the standard pattern, but it works for them. I love seeing how Buffy is slowly realizing there's something deeper going on with Will. And the sex! Oh, so hot. Wonderful, wonderful chapter.

Loved it. The introduction of Faith will be interesting, and while William was a bit of an asshole there for a moment, it adds some realism to the story. This situation definitely won't be happy-go-lucky all the time, and it'll be really interesting to see how the two of them negotiate her inexperience and his guilt. Can't wait for more!

I can't wait to find out what happens next. My suspicions are that maybe Billy's mother was abusive and Spike wasn't around to stop it...but the bruise is new...the possibility of it being Spike would take the story in a really dark direction, and I know you're the kind of writer who could handle it!
