I'm a 23 year old who has been a fan of both Buffy and Angel from the beginning. I've co-written several stories with Allison- one is False Pretenses on my account and the others can be found under the name Goldilocks. I began reading fanfiction about a year ago and I had too many ideas to not write them. I'm also addicted to reviews, so please don't hesitate to leave me one :-)

Summary: Buffy Winters had it rough growing up in LA. Now she is a nineteen year old prosititute making her own way through life. Until one night she meets Angel who tells her she's a slayer. Angel knows a lot about slayers since his ex-girlfriend Faith Summers was the one who drowned at the Masters hands to activate the next slayer. Basically Faith has been living the life we saw on BTVS. Joyce is her mother, the scoobies her friends and she was the one who Angel left to go to LA. The story starts S4 BTVS and S1 Ats, Kendra has been called and died, the only changes are that no-one knows Buffy was called after her. Buffy goes to help Faith and Riley with Adam and ends up sticking around Sunnydale where she meets a certain chipped vamp we all know and love.

I loved their sparring in this chapter and especially the end result!! And the fact that Spike is already starting to get possessive is just a bonus :-)

I absolutely loved Tara! She is the perfect voice of reason. And the line that Giles was about to have a heart attack was so funny!!

Glad that Riley was only there to talk- I actually liked the poor guy- just not paired with Buffy! And everyone else showing up after that was great (especially Spike, of course!)

Awww, Spike was so sweet! I love tender Spike!! And Buffy's speech to Faith had me tear up a little bit (and believe me, that is VERY hard to do). Wonderful chapter filled with emotion!

Love that Buffy is the temptress and Spike is trying to resist!

Sex scenes can be a little overrated. If you didn't feel the need to put it in the chapter, then it didn't belong in the chapter. I look forward to it when it means something, but I like your logic of Spike and the readers both being unfulfilled. I also like that Spike is slowly trying to break down her walls.

Glad that Buffy was able to stand up to Travers, even if it didn't work out the way she wanted. It's good to see that she doesn't back down entirely.

Very good job of writing Adam. He wasn't a very complex character in the show, but he had a lot of complex questions (if that makes sense) and you were able to capture that.

I'm glad she stood up for Spike and called out Xander on his hypocritical ways- didn't that just bug the crap out of you?? Especially in Selfless! Getting off topic- great chapter!

Drunk GIles is always so fun :-) And Willow was so in character, I was cracking up. Sad that this is the most recent chapter, but I love the story and I can't wait for the next update!

I like their gambling- definitely high risks.

I loved Xander being the voice of reason! It's about time that his narrow-minded views were broadened a little bit and if it couldn't happen in the show, at least it can happen in fics :-) Interesting twist in the chapter- I'm glad they won't need to do the curse.

Their sisterly talk in this chapter was great and I loved Faith's last line!

I can understand why people would think Buffy went against Spike, but honestly, I think it was Angel (with more than a little bit of Angelus mixed in) that preyed on a vulnerable situation and turned it to his advantage. Buffy was simply caught in the crossfire of their eternal rivalry.

I figured it was Dru- what else could it be? Harmony? LOL- sorry, I'm in a funny mood right now LOL! Great chapter and I loved how she put Angel in his place.

I loved the romanticsm of her biting Spike- after the bite that Angel gave her, since his was almost like an attempted rape and it was nice to see the exact opposite with our Spuffy couple. I can understand what Buffy was insecure about- there's a huge difference between lust and love and she did what she had to do to survive. Having the knowledge that Spike loved someone and she could be a replacement would be devastating (I would assume). Wonderful writing in this chapter (and in every chapter!)

Loved the vampire mythology in this one. It's always been a point I wished Joss and company would have touched on a little more- I think the only ep. they mention it in is "Lie To Me" and that's only Buffy saying that vampires are particular about who they turn. Anyway, I'm babbling- great job!

Well...didn't expect that pairing- or former pairing. And jealous/protective Spike is always fun.

Definitely not the Wes I was expecting. For a while he was more like season four of "Angel" and then he made that...revelation and threw me for a loop :-)

Personally, I thought Wes deserved a Slayer-sized slap, but the normal one works too. I'm wondering why Xander wouldn't throw a fit about Spike's chip, but I'm sure you have your reasons. I also remember that he had a semi-understanding of Spike in relation to Anya, so I'm guessing that's a factor.
