Oh god, they kicked her out, they really did it! I was so hoping for this to happen. I can't believe Willow even tried to deny calling Angel. Didn't she just think how it was a good thing to call him and thet Buffy would be happy about it? If she really believed that, why would she deny it? The girl is so seriously messed up! Love the interaction between those left at the house though. Nice to see Tara gets the support she deserves instead of Buffy clinging to her old friendships as if it didn't matter how they all changed. I've always hated that on the show. No matter if they where all best friends once upon a time, it shouldn't be used as an excuse to let them do what they want. In a way that's like saying you have to stay in a relationship with an abusive partner because you laved each other once upon a time. It's simply stupid! Really loved this chapter (and the ones I didn't leave a rev for too, sorry bout that, don't always remember *blushes*).

*snort* he's just too cute, isn't he?! Can just see his face at the thought of Xander-taste. And Joyce is just cool...

Ooooh yes! That's even better than killing them! And again with Dru, I just love your way of writing her! Hearing of her using a fax is nearly as hysterical as the plane-tickets in the s2 one. But funnily I can still imagine it, without problems even. And now waiting till tomorrow, wow, I really need a life *lol*

Hmmm, getting interesting. Love how you point out Buffy's doubts of her previous behaviour. And adding a new player instad of the world being simply reversed adds more suspense. Now we all have to wait to figure out what Leanna is up to. Can't wait to see what you have in mind with her...

Author's Response: I'm glad you like the new character idea :) Her being there is suppose to be like Riley to Buffy, but I changed her personality to be easier to hate - plus I didn't want to use Dru or Harmony. Thanks for reviewing again!!

Wow, for someone who doesn't react to anything anymore that was sure a big step, getting all the medical stuff and tending to poor sick Spikey. He really must have made an impression on her with his being different. This is really becoming intersting. And I already hate the others ;-)

Very nice story so far. Love what you had Buffy say about the others always talking about redemption but not believeing in it. I felt that was true on the show already, but here it was glaring obvious. Same with the only seeing people like they want to see them. For a group of supposed friends, the Scoobs and the AI-gang where by far the blindest people as far as the true nature of their friends was concerned. No matter if they where willing to risk their lifes for each other, I wouldn't want to have friends like that. Happily anticipating the next chaper - and if you keep updating as amazingly fast as you usually do, I wont have to wait long :-)

*lol*, nope, Giles isn't going to be a hurdle at all, is he? More like a possible solution :-) But it's in a way good to see Spike so worried about the watcher's reaction. The more he worries about that, the happier it'll make him once he finds out Giles is way ahead of them, 'cos his worrying means the man's oppinion matters to him. Love that Tara was able to do the ball-of-sunshine spell. Shows what an ignorant amateur Willow is, after all SHE messed up in a bit way when she tried her hands on that one. Buffy's thoughts about who she blames for Spike getting hurt were a great touch too. Can't wait to see what she's gonna do once she finds out who's really responsible for that. Somehow I doubt Willow is going to be back in their good graces anytime soon. Maybe never, would serve her right! Fab chapter! Bit late but hey, better late than never, right?
Anyway, great chapter! Love that you found a middle-way with Dru there. By simply ignoring her as soon as Buffy arrived Spike made it nice and clear just who he cares about. And while it's always a great way to demonstrate ones feelings if the kill their formers; it somehow cheapens the whole thing as well. Killing an ex just to proove your feelings (like Spike planned in "Crush") doesn't exactly make you look good. It's different if it's for protection, but not to proove something.
Sweet scene with Giles and Anya. I really like those two, hope they won't have it too hard. Anya so deserves someone who doesn't treat her like all that matters is that she looks good on his arm - and that's the feeling I've been getting from Xander; like she's some sort of prestige-girlfriend - supposed to look nice and keep quiet.

Wow, that's what I call a great fic! Love the way you jump between the characters and how their pain and desperation is so very obvious in their thoughts! I always had a thing for fics who show the not so good consequences the Slayer-spell might have had. I mean, there had to be a reason there was only one of them, how can you expect everything to be sunshine and roses after messing up the natural order in such a way? And this is one of the most interesting angles I've seen so far. Not to mention that I'd bet the guy talking to Buffy was none other that Riley, and I just love if he and his military conies are realized as the monsters they are. Poor Dawnie, having to live with the guilt of being the one to be responsible for their discovery. Can easily see how such an event might lead to her not speaking at all. She's still yound after all. I really liked Giles in this. And him dying with a smile on his face 'cos he managed to cheat the world a last time, yeah, can see that. Made me smile for him too. A last triumph... Ok, I've been rambling again, I tend to do that, sorry :-) -- Anyway, great fic and I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

Author's Response: Thank you. I usually try to stay away from "head-hopping" - and to be honest when I started I was writing trying to figure who's POV I was going to stick with. While not technically "the thing to do" I finally just decided this was fanfic and for me first and other's enjoyment if they liked it and I would play a bit. If it begins to be confusing or people really don't like it - I may consider changing. So if it gets confusing by all means don't hesitate to say so. I still don't have a Beta, and must trust only the reviews to improve this thing. I am thick skinned when it comes to constructive criticism.
