Definately a great wow, an amazing wow. You managed to evoke such a realistic scene from a few words and captured something that is often indefinable about their relationship: the loathing that Spike feels for both himself and his interactions with Buffy. (eg: Ponce! Bloody Rent Boy!). Brilliant characterisation.

This relationship between Dru and Spike makes sense in its own unique way. Incest and sexual abuse in a purely all human context rationalises Dru's actions and thought processes. Lovely writing as always.

Author's Response: I thought Xander deserved to have a decent love story for once. It all stemmed from the idea that maybe he had such bad luck with girls because the love of his life was turned into a vampire before he could meet her. In my version, he saves her. Buffy and Spike--ambivalent but drawn together.

I really loved chapter 21. I felt like it elaborated on the innate difficulties of Dav having a relationship with Giles. The sex scene was hot and dark and dirty and the dialogue was perfect. I am really interested to see where you take us next.

I know two love scenes in one story from people who aren\'t Buffy or Spike is a bit unheard of, but I thought there needed to be a follow-up establishing the complexities of their relationship. Also, I kind of adore them and I think I\'m giving them too much time, but since it\'s dirty, dirty sex, I figured most people would forgive me.

Author's Response: Finally, I wanted to give some weight to Angel\'s death and thought this scene went a long way in explaining it.

I thought that it was well written. I am curious to see how Spike reacts to being human. As for the Dav and Giles sex? You have been leading up to it but it still felt kind of uncomfortable. It was a wonderful scene and the characters felt authentic. Maybe it is just me. Sorry.
