I got into the Buffyverse a while ago thanks to Netflix streaming. Since then I've watched all seven seasons of BTVS and five seasons of Angel several times each.
Spike is my favorite character out of the lot. Not to say that I don't like the other characters, it's just that there's so much you can do with Spike. He's very multi-faceted.
After reading a lot lot lot of fanfiction, the idea of what could've happened if Spike hadn't burned at the end of Chosen popped into my head and wouldn't go away. I finally wrote a rough draft of the first chapter and then figured it would. It didn't, so I kept going.
I never thought of myself as a writer... I'm a numbers girl. I work with massive spreadsheets and huge databases for a living, so it really surprised me when people responded positively to my stories. It's kinda relaxing to just lose myself in some other world for a while. Sometimes I kinda know what's gonna happen next, but most times the characters pretty much do whatever they please and I just type it out. Good thing I'm a fast typist.
I've got three stories that are WIPs, but my muse is being a pill and isn't really letting me work on the ones I need to finish, although it has let me write large portions of nine other stories. I've promised myself that I won't post any new stories until I've finished the ones I've already been posting and that point forward, I won't post a new story unless I've finished it. I hate leaving you guys hanging, waiting for new chapters, but one can't really control their muse, at least I've not been able to beat mine into submission just yet.
I very much appreciate each and every review and I love you guys for taking the time to read my stuff. Thanks to everybody who's stuck with me and I promise to finish the stories I've started.

Oh, poor William! That's kind of a sucky way to find out you have no chance with the girl of your dreams. I hope he doesn't decide to move out, not when he's finally got the possibility of friends.

I'm glad Buffy and William made up and decided to be friends, but I wonder what's going on with Faith? Hmmm.
It's cool that she's trying to help William out. Hope he starts feeling a little more comfortable so he can start rocking his new look.
Author's Response: I really wanted to keep him true to himself. Even though he allowed her to upgrade his look a bit, I like that it really won\'t effect who he chooses to be as a person. When alls said and done, he\'s a great person, besides that initial shyness, but most people start out with looks so now he\'s approachable. I hate that this is the case most of the time but.....example look at Susan Boyle. Anyway thank you so much for reading and for your review! It means the world to me!
