I was surprised to see Drusilla go, but hey, that makes more time for Spuffy!

Hopefully Buffy will sneak out soon so she can talk to Spike. He needs her comfort right now.

I can't tell you had a writers block. This chapter was very necessary; reality came crashing down on them because buffys mom came home, and drusilla up and left Spike, I think confusing his emotions a bit. So, this was an important chapter to have.

Update soon, please?

Author's Response: I agree, I think Drusilla was just bringing him down farther and they didn\'t really have a reason to stay together anymore. I felt that a lot of things in this chapter needed to happen, so I\'m glad you felt the same. Spike will need to consider everything and maybe they\'ll finally have the talk :) I hope to update tomorrow but I\'m not sure. I will try!

Author's Response: lol Perhaps it is a cliffhanger... but not as much as the last few chapters, so I\'m not letting it count. The 3-4 chapters is just an idea of how much longer it\'ll go, but it\'s not a definite yet. I would also love for it to keep going. I have two plots in mind where the story could go; in one, it goes on for around 10 more chapters but it would get moderately angsty, in the other its 3-4 chapters of more fun stuff. Depends. I love this line because I felt that Spike always had insecurites about Buffy blaming him for not saving Dawn, not being fast enough or strong enough. This line proves that she knows he did his best. It gave me butterflies to read :)

I would like to start my review off by saying that I am totally crying right now! This is such a beautiful story. I could picture Spike standing by her grave, placing the flowers and talking to her softly as if it were an episode on the show. Spike's pov was very well written. Overall, this is the best one-shot I've ever read. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful story.

Thats the one thing I don't like about one shots. When people update their fics the one shots get pushed back until it's off the recent page, then alot of people don't get to read them. It would be a tragedy for people to not read such a beautiful fic. Seriously, I keep saying that, but it's true. Day 33 is amazing.

I do think you should continue writing, whether it be a continuation of Day 33 or something different. Just know that I will be there reading and reviewing when you do.

Summary: Begins after ''Hell's Bells'' (S6E16). With the aftermath of the wedding-that-wasn't, Buffy finds Spike, and seeks solace with the vampire. Despite the recent ending of their relationship of sorts, it brings Buffy out of the land of denial, and forces her to admit her true feelings for him. Season 6 finishes up pretty much canon, only non-canon is the Spuffy relationship, which I tweaked (otherwise, it would've been the same as the show, and, well, you've already watched that...) also non-canon main character death! YES! Sorry, death scenes make me enthusiastic... Also, an interesting twist of ''Normal Again'' tweaked to my liking... Enjoy :]
