Great chapter! I'm still awaiting what happened to Parker, but that can be put off for a while- I'm enjoying the Spike and Buffy interaction so far. Thank god he beat Angelus- that was fabulous:) Cordy creeped me out (and rightfully so), and it's kind of cool to see the women be so strong, even if they're scary LOL

I'm happy Spike talked to the girls about hitting Buffy- that's a step in the right direction, I think. That sucks about Angelus' plan, but that just adds more to the plotline. I just don't want him to step in and think he can control Buffy, too. But she's not losing her edge or fighting heart yet, so that's a good sign. She'll survive this, emotional scars and all

I'm not worried about Buffy- she's a fighter and will handle whatever is thrown her way. Loved the fighting between her and Harmony- never liked her character and always wish Buffy would've just hit her around a whole bunch of times:) Cute dialogue between Darla and Eve, too! I'm kind of glad Buffy had the strength to try to get Spike away instead of just caving in, also. Good job with the pimping, my dear:) I can't wait to read what's next!

Excellent update! I'm glad that Spike's beginning to express more of his feelings towards Buffy, even though he doesn't actually vocalize them. Hopefully Spike's plan for Amy works out, Harmony and the others stay away from Buffy, and that Buffy starts to realize that Spike really does have feelings for her outside of simply wanting to sleep with her.

Very sweet ending to the chapter- it's nice to know that there can be some kind of peace for them, even if it's when they're asleep. The Dru angle in the chapter was interesting- she's always fun to see pop up. Angelus is very dumb to not think about things more and really evaluate situations- it's sad when Amy understands things better than he does. Excellent chapter!
Author's Response: Yea, Angelus should be more perceptive but I wanted him to be clouded by his obsession for ruining Spike. I'm glad you liked it though! I'm catching up with yours after FFL :)

Oh my god- Gymnopedie #1 is absolutely amazing, and I recommend it to everyone! It was in one of William's Girl's fics, and I've been hooked ever since I heard it last year. I loved this interlude- very cute and sweet. If I was in Buffy's position, I still would've bowed down before him and asked him to whisk me away!

Poor Angel- I'm sure he'll be Captain Broody in no time when he finds out what happened between Buffy and Spike, and it will be interesting to see how she reacts as a human again later on. Well, I'm glad Anya was put in her place finally, and it's good Xander handled it pretty well, also. Angel IS a very predictable guy, and I thought it was funny how that was pointed out in this chapter. Hopefully now Buffy and Spike can have a go at a happy marriage

I'm happy Spike still loves her, and I hope the feeling's mutual on Buffy's side, even if she can't admit it because of Riley. Loved the flashback, too- that hotel is SO beautiful, and I'd imagine it'd be rather romantic for a young couple falling in love. I wonder what they did after you ended the flashback... :) It's cool to know that Jenny was only 17 when she met Rupert- it's a nice detail to hear about considering Buffy was 17 when she met Spike. I can't wait for more!

The flashback's so sad because you know that Buffy and Spike didn't end up staying together after Spring Break, unfortunately:) I love the way Andrew is being written, and I always loved the guy on the show, so I'm happy he's involved positively in the fic. I still can't wait to see how Spike reacts to finding out the truth about Dawn!
