Summary: When Homecoming rolls around, Spike bets Buffy that he will be the Homecoming King, proving that he’s more popular than she is. Determined to prove she’s more popular, Buffy runs for Homecoming Queen. After cutthroat campaigns and several pranks against each other, old feelings surface between the two rivals and they begin to remember why they use to be Sunnydale High’s most elite couple a few years ago. Will they be able to work past their stubborn rivalry or will they still be at each other’s throats when it comes time for Homecoming?

oOoOo, I like it! I was scared that it was going to be a longer story about post-season 7 because I usually don't like those much (although i have faith u could pull it off without annoying me), but then it was a ficlet so I was pleasantly surprised! I thought that it was very in character of Buffy to hit him in the nose and be tough, but at the same time show her concern and affection. You did a good job! :D
Summary: Previously titled You’re My Temptation. When Buffy’s mother dies, she’s left alone, to be shuffled from one foster home to another. After years of abuse and neglect, she finally gets the courage to run away and ends up still struggling to survive. The subtle stuff you had in there really got to me! The fact that she said he wouldn't hurt her shadows what sort of sick and abusive things she's had to deal with - which makes me cringe to think about. I'm glad she's finally able to be with someone who doesn't treat her that way, but I can't help thinking you're going to have her running miles away from him! At least he'll eventually help her work through it :)
