Ok Buffy needs to stop playing her game of roll around in the yoyo angst, but it did make for an interesting twist. And I think I love this line: “Rupert, old man, you’re gonna be Best Man at my wedding.”
The story has been excellent so far, and I can definitely say it deserved everything it won, as well as the new best AU of yours. Congrats, Ash! No wonder you didn't want to stop writing it!
Summary: After Buffy breaks up with Spike, the heartbroken vampire vows to give her the space she needs. His silent promise becomes more difficult when a strange occurrence happens later that night and Buffy seeks him out, trying to understand something that she can't control.
