When he didn't answer her right away, Sam continued on with her reasons, "Because you're my daddy and daddies should live with mommies and their kids. And I miss you when you're not here. So you should live here." Before he could ask or say anything, Sam remembered one other question, "Can I call you 'daddy' now?"

*hugs you* You don't owe me a single thing. Reading this over was a pleasure, and reading it again is even more so. This is the perfect epilogue to a wonderful story. I'm a sucker for happy endings, and this ending was perfect--William doing what he loves, him and Buffy and Sam all together and happy, Angel living in blessed anonymity...everything was tied together and it just leaves me with this great feeling. Wonderful job!
