I am a huge fan of Spike and Buffy. Always have been. I find it funny how Angel is supposed to be Buffy's "soulmate" but he's extremely self-centered. He's the guy that took of on her because he couldn't stay away from her. He's the guy who couldn't love her without a soul and he's the guy who is supposed to get her in the end. That makes no sense ot me.
Spike should be with her in the end. Even when he was soulless he gave up everything he was for her. He's the one who SOUGHT out a soul because he had hurt her. He's the one who when realizing she was in pain, put his own pain aside to help her.
Spike loved/loves buffy way more than angel ever could, and that was without the soul.
So, because I love the Spuffy shippers soo much, I am going to write my own stories, the way I thought it should have gone. All the while remember that they are not mine and I can only play with them, not keep them.
