Just getting back to atvs fics after a long break and now I can't find a fic I swear Ive read so many times.

It's after AtS NFA. Buffy is in LA and finds Spike who's held captive by a crazier than usual Dru and saves him. Spike has a pretty large hole is his chest (Dru had some beast take a bite) and Buffy helps him heal in a hotel room.

They talk and at some point Buffy wears a naughty nurse costume, gives Spike a sponge bath and they have sex. Then Spike says no sex until healed completely.

After Spike is well he visits Angel because they only have each other so there is some biting going on to reestablish the familial connection. Spike and Buffy leave and Buffy decides to stay in LA with Spike instead of forcing him to come with her to Rome.

Summary: What would happen if Spike wrote a letter to Buffy before his battle with Angel in Los Angeles, telling her the reasons why he stayed away? Are they the final words of a dead man, or will they be a cry for help? And more, what will Buffy discover about herself when she decides to find out?
