Elizabeth 'Buffy' Summers has signed a five year contract with Dollhouse and become 'Slayer', their second most demanded Active. William James is a very wealthy and lonely business man turning to the Dollhouse just this once to create the love of his life he's never had but always longed for. The qualities he asks for the Active to have, qualities he longs for in a companion, are all one's Buffy has and more. Taking a chance Topher imprints Slayer with the memories of her rightful body's owner but without those of the Dolhouse. But what happens when Slayer's engagement with William is over and she begins to remember him after she is wiped and it gets in the way of her performance in new engagements?
