I read this great fic a while back, but for the life of me I cannot remember the title or author. I would like to reread it sometime as it was humorous. Here is what I can remember about it:
-Takes place in Season 4 during the time of the Initiative. Riley and Buffy are together, though there is an attraction between her and Spike. Buffy and Spike end up doing it in the bathroom at the Bronze. Later that night Buffy breaks up with Riley. He gets upset and recaptures Spike. Buffy and gang eventually rescue Spike, and he is left to recover at Joyce's home. One night during dinner, Spike has recovered but still pretends to be weak to milk special treatment from Buffy, such as her cutting his steak for him. She doesn't buy it and in turn volunteers to warm his mug of blood, in which she pours a bunch of Tabasco sauce. After Joyce leaves the house, Spike wastes no time and they proceed to do it on the dining room table. Buffy then tells Spike she broke up with Riley. He is surprised and accidentally steps in a bowl of mashed potatoes.
-There is a scene where Xander catches Spike and Buffy in the act, and includes a very funny dialogue where they all say each other's names in embarrassment. Buffy pops Xander in the nose for looking at her naked, and does the same to Spike for not locking the door.
-The Scoobies are all at Joyce's for dinner one night. Xander and Anya disappear into the bathroom with some Pop Rocks candy, and later Tara and Willow do the same. During dinner, Willow's and Tara's relationship is made known to Giles. In an attempt to shift attention away from herself, Willow blurts out Buffy and Spike are sleeping together. Giles "calmly" pours himself and Joyce more wine after this news is revealed, and I think that is how it ended.
I'm sorry this is a long description, but I just wanted to include everything I can remember. And I really hope I haven't somehow mixed two stories together or anything like that. This was just a very humorous fic. I got a lot of laughs out of it and would like to read it again. Any feedback would be appreciated! |
