I read this fic a long while ago, and can't seem to find it anywhere. No matter what i type in the searchfield on any site.
It's AU All Human fic, where Spike was popular and attractive, until he got in some accident that caused him to have scars on one side of his face. I believe Buffy is his neighbor and that she always liked/loved him from afar. Spike is depressed and isolates himself. Buffy at some point tells him she thinks he's beautiful anyway. He later gets some kind of surgery to remove the scars, with help from his ex? (Dru maybe, not sure)
Believe it's pretty angsty but with a happy Spuffy ending (not positive on that, though)
