Buffy works at Hooters/Spike might be father of her child/ Not sure because she was raped

Hi guys,
I am looking for a fic I read years ago. Buffy and Spike had a one-night-stand One night before he left for college. Years later they meet again, I think Buffy works at Hooters and Spike is a lawyer. Buffy has a daughter I think she's called Winnifred. Buffy hopes that Spike is the father but can't be sure because she was raped a day after she slept with Spike.
I can't remember the name of the story or who wrote it but i know I never read the end so it might be a WIP though I hope not. It would be awesome if someone knew which story I am talking about

Oops, I got confused myself.

Carrot, when I searched for Spike musician I got a link for Forgive and Forget by Kimbler, but that's not the story the orignal poster is talking about (Spike was the one raped with a child). So my question to you is was that the story you were refering to?

Now I'm confused because the original poster isn't looking for a fic where Spike is a rock star, he's a Lawyer and Buffy works at Hooters...

By similar sounding story I meant Long Time Gone by Bitterness. Sammury: AU all-human. When Buffy and Spike were in high school, everything was nearly perfect for them-- until she mysteriously disappeared. Now, five years later, Buffy's returned for her mother's funeral, and to take over caring for her sister, Dawn. Can Dawn and Spike ever forgive her for running away? Especially when she won't tell them why?


In the story Buffy had child that looks like Spike but she was raped same night they made love so she also had her doubts. It's great story anyway so I highly recomend it!

Ya but in Long time gone buffy works with Spike at the music store. In the fic that's being looked for buffy works at hooters. It seems to be similar in all other features like Spike being the father but not being 100 percent sure cuz she was raped. Wondering if the Buffy working at hooters was a mistake? It looks like an interesting fic that I've never seen before (meaning the one where Buffy works at Hooters). But carrot's right long time gone is a great fic.

Oh and Long Time Gone is a WIP as well

I think I've read this. Does Spike and his co-workers/friends go to the bar where Buffy works? And I think I remember something about Buffy taking her daughter to work that very day or something and Spike saying hello to her (the daughter). And someone picking her daughter up a bit after that, maybe Willow?

Can't remember more and can't find it in my personal archive, but if this helps at all...

That's the one I remember, Spike is at the bar with friends and I think Willow drops her daughter off at the bar I also keep thinking that the little girl's name is Winnie - not the usual Ann or Joyce anyway.

unfortunately it's not Long time gone
But you were right the daughters name was definitely Winnie and Spike meets her and Buffy in a bar (which I am pretty sure was something like Hooters) while he is there with friends from work.
Also Buffy and Winnie move in with him very soon because he thinks the apartment where they live is not save.
Oh and I think the guy that raped Buffy was in someway related to her? I think it was her cousin, at least she knew him very well.
It's been ages since I read it and I am pretty much looking for it forever. But it's good to know that some other people remember it, too and are obviously interested in finding it, too.

Now then you mentioned moving in because of safety issue it sounds a bit more familar. Could you please write down everything you recall? Does Spike seeing anyone? Town it takes place in? How old Buffy's baby? Anything might jog someones memory!
