I read this fic sometime in about the last six month I thinks, and it was originally in the buffy section of the fanfiction.net site, but now I can't find seem to find it. The main storyline is:
Buffy gets taken to a hell dimension like the one that demon Ken took her to in episode one of season three after running away after sending Angel to hell, but she doesn't escape right away, and gets stuck there for years. She and a bunch of others eventually launch a revolt or something and manage to get back to this dimension, but buffy doesn't go back to sunnydale because she was away for years to her, but it was like only one or two years on earth. The scoobies, plus Angel and Spike eventually find Buffy to get her help in fighting Glory.
Here's a few bits I remember from the story:
- When buffy first re-encounters spike and giles, they're the first to find her, she wants nothing to do with them, and walks then runs away from them, getting hit by a car in the process.
- Buffy and the people she brought back from her hell dimension have to drink the blood of this demon, because they were made to be addicted to it in this hell dimension, because drinking it enhances strength and stuff, and slows aging, which is why buffy's still young despite being gone for like decades from her perspective.
- Buffy and her friends from this other dimension, are all bound together magically because of this oath/ritual thing they swore together, and because of this bond buffy's able to do some magic. Such as teleporting from whatever city she is in across america to sunnydale.
- Ethan Rayne is a friend to buffy now because he got brought to that hell dimension and buffy got him out to.
- Dawn is still Buffy's sister, but buffy has no memories of her, possibly because she was in this other dimension when the monks made dawn.
- Buffy has a daughter, who is like somewhere between like 4 and 8, or something, a child but not a baby.
- Buffy's in charge of the group she brought back to this dimension, and they call her an alpha, something to do with how families or whatever are set up in the hell dimension.
- When buffy first encounters Glory she freezes because buffy knows Glory and is afraid of her, and buffy then like kneels in subservience to her. |
