Spike was human married Buffy had kids, vamps again leaves for yrs comes back when there is trouble

Spike returns at the beginning of story (not sure if there was a previous story) - He and Buffy fight. You find out that he had been gone for years to protect the family he and Buffy had made during his human years. Somehow he had been made human and then a vampire again. I believe the threat the family faces is possibly Angel, who in the end kidnaps their little girl from school. I think the final showdown is at the school.
Does any of this sound familiar to anyone?
