Wondering if someone can help me find this story. I read it a few months ago but lost it and I can't seem to find it anywhere.
Anyways what I remember is this :
When Vamp Willow was pulled through the portal it stayed open. The Wishverse version of Spike came across it and sneaks through without anyone finding out.
He comes across Buffy and decides that he wants her.
Meanwhile the resident version of Spike is on his way back to Sunnydale. I can't remember why but it's either because he got sick of Dru or because he wanted to kill Buffy to prove he had no feelings for her.
I'm sure one of the scenes is - he comes across Wish!Spike and Buffy talking somewhere and after hearing the UST filled conversation, he decides that he does want her too.
To begin with Buffy refuses to accept this swearing that she loves Angel.
Then after getting over the surprise of there being two of the blonde, her defences slowly start to come down and decides to date them both so she can choose what one she wants to be with.
Not happy with this, the two Spikes do all they can to prove they are the right vampire for her while trying to discredit the other man. Somewhere during this, she realises that she does have feelings for the two of them.
She isn't sure who to pick and I think after a talk with someone (Willow?) she winds up at the mansion with the pair of them stuck in the middle of another argument.
She finally takes the bull by the horns and surprises the both of them by solving the problem - she wants them both, showing the pair of them how good a Slayer really is and the story ends with the three of them as a couple.
