Buffy is trying to be a good vampire and Spike is the Slayer, they have a relationship but Buffy run

I read this story where Buffy was a vampire, trying her best to prove to Spike she was good. Spike was the Slayer and they developed a relationship. Buffy got scared of the intimacy and ran away to LA. I remember one of the final scenes when Spike tracked her down. He finds her saving an elderly lady in an alley. She dislocates her shoulder and has to put in back in place. That's all I remember, except that it was a great story. Any help would be appreciated.

No that's not it. Great story though. The more I think about it, I can remember one other scene clearly. Buffy comes to a party that Spike is at and flirts with him in front of the guys that are giving him a hard time. Spike responds as part of the "act" and Buffy is hurt because it is real for her. They run into the Initiative after the party and Spike distracts them so Buffy can run away. Thanks for the other suggestion though.

I know what story you're thinking of but can't remember the name. It starts as a riff on the something blue episode, and I think the title has something to do with "something blue."
