Spike is a master vampire who is bored and decides to find the Slayer to fight and kill. Buffy's mother is dead and she has lived alone since she was a teenager, however she has no confidence in herself as a woman. When Spike finds her he decides he has to build her up before he will get the fight he is looking for. There is definitely scenes of Buffy finding the tapes of his kills and she does become a vampire near the end.

		ok so I dont' know if I'm getting two fics mixed up but here goes. I read this a long while back. Buffy is seeing Spike and somehow finds video tapes of victims that he's had relations with....I'm pretty sure he's a vamp cause he's killed them all. she ends up a vamp two because then end up getting it on with a girl named lorainne before they kill her together...
