Oz works for PTB and gets Spike to help Buffy

Hello all,
I'm looking for a fiction where Oz has been working for the PTB (like Doyle or Whistler) since he left Sunnydale. He's assigned to recruit Spike to come back and help Buffy and Dawn. (Forget why he's no longer with them; if he left during S6, never came back after the soul, or after the series.) But he grabs Spike and places him in his van that I believe is customized with necrotemper glass. Spike's reluctant so Oz stops the van on the road and challenges Spike to a fight, and undresses and wolves out to do so. After fight, they head to the woods to Buffy and Dawn where they track and battle a big dragon/insect shaped demon. One or a couple of them get wounded (I think Spike's almost sliced apart by the creature's razor sharp wings and/or one of the girls is buried under the demon's huge body). Does this ring any bells to anyone? Thanks in advance.

Just to clarify for folks, Buffy, with Dawn in tow, comes after Spike and Oz after they have a phone conversation where he expresses that he thinks Buffy is pulling away from their relationship. He gets rid of the cell phone, and since she can't get a hold of him, she decides to drive up to him in the Oregon wilderness to reassure him and hersellf they're ok. Hence she stays on and helps with fighting the demon.
