Spike is a reclusive painter, still a vamp, sees Buffy at a showing & meets her (Riley is there as her date, but they aren't together, though he wants to be). Spike has a painting Buffy loved delivered to her at her hotel. I remember Spike had servants who knew he was a vampire. Riley tries to attack Buffy, but Spike saves her.
