Hi, my name is Danielle and I'm looking for a fic that I believe is based in season three. The following is what I can remember; Travers captures Spike and asks Buffy to escort him to England where they want to run tests on him I believe. But while they are in flight the plane starts going down and that is when Buffy learns that the pilot is dead she goes and tells Spike who then tells her to let him out that he might be able to land the plane which he is able to do. He lands it in the middle of a lake and Buffy is knocked out she comes to and panics, Spike gets her out and to the surface and they swim to shore. They end up finding a cave to sleep in. The next night when Spike goes back to the lake to see if anything can be salvaged Buffy is almost attacked by a bear Spike saves her and then because of that he claims her so it'll be easier to know when she is in danger since he had trouble finding her. They stay in the cave for awhile until they have to find a new one when they get the first one nasty by throwing animal guts around. They end up rescued by Giles, Willow, Xander, Joyce and Angel and "The Watchers Council". If anyone knows what the name of this fic is, who the author is and where I can find it, please contact me, it will really make my day. I've been wanting to read it for a while.
