Initiative Baby

Hey! I'm trying to remember the name of the fic where Buffy and Spike are captured by the Initiative and their DNA is mixed and a baby is made, but their son is kept from them and he and Buffy are moved around a lot while Spike continues to try to find them.

I had thought, 'Lonely In Your Nightmare' by Bloodshedbaby which is here at TSR, but it isn't finished yet. It fits the first bit but I'm not sure about the second part. If it isn't and another is found I might just have a look at it myself.

I have a post here with fics where Buffy is caught by the Initiave; I haven't added many Spike ones yet. But the description doesn't ring a bell at the moment.
If you know more or if you find the one you're looking for I'll add it.

Maybe I have some facts wrong. It could be that Buffy is just captured and the Initiative uses Spike's sperm that they have from when they had him. But I distinctly remember a scene where Buffy and Spike are looking in on a cage or room of some sort where their son, who is very advanced I think, is sleeping on a cot that is like five times bigger than him and they're so relieved because they've been searching for him for a long time.

I remember reading this fic on Sinister-Attraction. I think Spike spends years following leads and doing what he can to find Buffy, and at one point he comes across the dead body of Riley Finn and we later learn he was killed because he wanted to help Buffy. Then they learn about their child and go looking for him, and when they find him in a cell he looks about five years old or so and goes up tot he glass and puts his hand up against it... I know it's on sinister-attraction, but I can't remember what season it might be under or who wrote it.

Yea it's not A Heart So Wild. I've searched through most of Sinister Attraction and haven't found it yet

I just googled site:sinister-attraction.net and hunted for any fics that mentioned sperm or DNA, but none of them turned up any results, so I doubt it's there.

Any other details you remember?

Well the story I linked above has both 'Sperm' and 'DNA' in it, in fact it had pretty much everything expect the son (baby hadn't been born yet). So, it could still be there.
