Spike is the slayer/Dawn's dad, Buffy a vampire

Hey everyone,

Trying to remember this fic I read awhile ago, I searched this site/forums for all the "spike is the slayer/buffy a vampire" found many that were simliar , but not the one I was looking for.
As for the details I do remember:
-Spike is Dawn's father (Dru the supposed mother?)
-Buffy is a vampire, who has a close relationship with Dawn, whereas Spike hates her, at point beating her pretty badly
-They eventually find out that Buffy is Dawn's mother somehow

unfortunately that's all I remember, hopefully Im not mixing several fics together

any help appreciated!

I remember a story similar to this except spike was a vampire and buffy was the slayer. Dawn was spike and dru's but dru was gone. there was a part where buffy does the spell where she see's that dawn isn't real and freaks and thats when spike comes in see's it and beats her up.

I'm not sure thats it. The one thing I remember most was that it was definitely a "Spike and Buffy switch places" kind of deal. Also, Buffy might have a chip or soul, since the scene where Spike beats her up, I don't remember Buffy fighting back at all. She was treated by the Scoobies much like Spike in season 4-5. I'm trying to think of more details, this fic is driving me crazy!
Although that fic your talking about sounds interesting, I don't think thats it, but thanks anyway!

Summary: Joyce and Giles are married, Dawn is their daughter. Spike is Giles' son from a previous marriage, his mum died during childbirth. Spike is also the Slayer, Wes is his Watcher. Xander and Willow are his best friends. Dru was the vamp cursed with a soul, swap the Buffy/Angel(us) relationship for Spike/Dru. Buffy takes Spike's place, a chipped vampire.


Spike beats up Buffy very badly in this one but Dawn is his sister and not his daughter in this one it's also a WIP here on SR

I dont know if anyone is still looking for this but I have more details which should help, first off spike wishes that buffy can feel what he feels after she does the whole evil pig spike season 5 thing and buffy winds up being the disgusting human with a chip in her head that stops her hurting vamps. Joyce dawn and the scoobies are all vamps and spike is joyce's son with little sister dawn and for everybody but buffy it seems like its always been that way, the vamps live in houses while the humans live in the crypts and warehouses. It turns out that the wish was used by some evil demigod or something who played spikes girlfriend (pretty sure her name starts with an L), She uses the wish to reverse the balance of the world using some magic crystal thats way powerful, I also remember a book and some important info that falls out of it (I think it had wooden covers and one of them split). Finally in the end the scoobies and spuffy are in some caves where the crystal is and there is a barrier that buffy crosses when she gets close to the crystal and everything on one side is normal buffyverse (where buffy is slayer and spike is vamp) the outside is the mirrorverse and thats where they kill the big bad. I think there is a point that the scoobies rescue buffy from being raped and they start to wonder if they are wrong in how they treat her after that. Hope this helps cos this was quite a ramble.
