buffy lies about pregnancy

I don't remember much but that buffy said she was pregnant to possibly get away from an ex, buffy told spike and he only heard the pregnant part. I remember she said that their is no baby, and he said that u can't just tell a man that and then just rip it away or something like that. I think it is all human, but I'm not sure.
