Im looking for a fic where the scoobies are entering the inititive through caves and find there dumping ground of dieing demons. Spike at the scoobies urging kills some of the demons who cant be saved to stop them suffering.

Oh I remember this one and it's at the tip of my tongue. The demons are chained to a wall right, and Xander looks at Spike and says something along the lines of can you do something, put them out of their misery??? So Spike goes and breaks the necks of some of them and stakes the vamps?
