All human. Spike and Buffy have been apart for several years. His mother dies and she comes home.

She's only been about forty-five minutes away in Los Angeles, but she's not been home in years. When she learns of his mother's death she returns and steps in to help him. It turns out they never fell out of love with one another. I believe at the end, Spike shows up at her gallery and Andrew and Jonathan work for her. Anyway, he shows up and proposes. Any help? It's a fairly short fic.
