Buffy wears Spike's ring into the Hellmouth

Hi everyone again,
Buffy wears Spike's skull engagement ring in the battle in Chosen. The gorgeous banner shows a close up of Buffy & Spike's hands held together on fire w/ the ring on her finger. It turns out wearing the ring helps to bring Spike back or get her pregnant (I forget which). Does anyone recall this story & author (I know the banner has to stand out in people's minds)?

Yes that's it; thank you. I had thought the story was longer but I realize there is a sequel called Under My Skin. I also thought that there was more detail on the ring. When I looked up the story on Elysian Fields, the banner is larger and you can clearly see it's a skull ring. Thanks again for finding the story for me.
