season 6 childlike buffy

i don't remember much about this fic. i know it was S6 and for some reason buffy was an adult but has the mind of a child. spike was taking care of her a dawn. i think social services wanted to take dawn away or maybe put buffy in a mental hospital

I think I've read (re-read) this one recently; maybe I'll remember the author + title. I can't remember the season.

What I remember of the story I'm thinking of is that Buffy was childlike because of the venom of an demon (and it's said it is no way to find an antidote). The research was going on all the time; Spike had Clem looking for the demon that caused it. I don't think the scoobies helped a lot (maybe Tara?) after some time but I'm not sure. Spike bought Buffy a lot of toys. Buffy didn't want Spike to be gone. Because of social service (somebody told them, maybe the Trio (Warren, Andrew + Jonathan).

The went before a trial (court) and Spike won to be a guard for Buffy and Dawn (showing that he was a vamp and Buffy the slayer he had to protect).

i just read this one and it was awesome! do u guys know any more fics like this? or like Zarrah's little buffy? i love those ones but never found any other good ones but the one zarrah wrote and her unfinished sequel
