AU Vamp spike and Human buffy

I started reading this fics years ago. I can't remember much but there is a part where Buffy runs away from Spike in a car driven by Giles. When Spike realizes that Buffy left, he runs to the car and pulls the door handles off before the car reaches the gate. Buffy sees him in full demon mode then.

Maybe it's The Victim by Bittersweetbloodbaby? I don't remember that scene, but it does seem familiar...

Hmm, I might be wrong, but that sounds like it could be "The Art of Immortality." I remember a scene like that in the fiction.
