(Human?) Spike doesn't remember Buffy, he writes a book on the beach every day

Hello.

I'm looking for a fic and I don't have a lot to go on.

For some reason Spike is gone - I think maybe he's "died"? And Buffy is the Slayer but is taking some time off her duties. She goes to an apartment complex overlooking the beach and sees that Spike is living there. Spike doesn't recognise her and is typing a novel on his laptop. He goes to the beach every morning to type. He notices Buffy and is in awe because she's "his vision" for the leading lady of the book. Buffy decides to rent an apartment in the complex to try to woo him, much to Giles' dismay.

Does this ring any bells?
