Spike, the savior of slayers.

Hey guys, happy new year!
I'm looking for a fic i read a while ago where Spike, who is legendary as the "savior of slayers", arrives in Sunnydale to help Buffy. He meets Buffy first, who then tells Giles, who is amazed that the legend would come and meet his slayer but also worried as it means Buffy is probably in danger. its revealed that Spike is possibly half slayer or something, this is where my memory dies and i have a senior moment, but i think its said that his mother was a slayer.
Any help in pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated. thanx all, take care.
