Toth demon zaps Spike.

I'm trying to find a fic I read awhile back in which Spike is zapped by Toth and separates into the William he was before he was turned and his demon self. William starts to become ill because he can't survive without his demon. Buffy searches for his demon to reunite them as one entity. She has a altercation with the demon but he doesn't hurt her because for some reason he sees her as his mate. I can't remember author or title. Does this sound familiar to anyone? BTW I'm not talking about Vice/Versa which is in a similar vein. I tried a search but I must be crappy at it cuz it came up zilch. Help?
