A spell that makes Buffy not afraid

There's some spell or curse or something, not sure, and it makes her not be afraid.
Somewhere near the beginning Buffy and Riley are doing it and Buffy wants to do anal, but Riley says no so she goes and finds spike.

There's a bit where Giles is demonstrating what has happened to Buffy and so he lights a match or a lighter and tells Buffy to put her hand in the fire.

So, just wondering where it went and if it's still up, or if i just can't find it.
