Spike had a support system of demon friends

I think this story took place in season 6, Spike and Buffy go through the same violent relationship, but has friends that try to help him see Buffy isn't whats best for him. I believe its Clem's family, his sister-in-law, whose human and work at the court house and her daughter who you only can tell is a demon by the ears. I think Clem's mother threw a party and invited the Scoobies and Xander didn't touch any of the demon food. I think Clem's mother who had become a psuedu-mom for Spike didn't care for Buffy's treatment of him and Buffy was nervous when she went to meet them the first time at a family dinner. I believe a Giles was liking a neighbor of theirs he meet at the party who was a demon or seer not sure about that part. I hope someone can make sense of this and help a fellow Spuffy fan out. It could be Spike's Will Be Done series by talesofspike. I'm pretty sure Buffy meets Clem's niece at the end of the second one, knowing she is viewed as the abusive partner.

No, that wasn't the one, but I do love that series

I wonder if it is by the same author then (the one you are after) or if you are mixing a couple of stories. In the second of the SWBD series, True Colours, chapter 34 (6.02), Spike/Dawn/Buffy go to see Clem's mum/family for dinner and Clem's niece looks human apart from her demon ears. Some authors repeat odd bits.

Some of the important Clem family members are named Lily, Rosa,Marie and Wesley falls in love with, I think the character if Marie, Rosa's mother.

The other long series is the one by Enigmaticblue - the Cast Me Not Away series
