I'm looking for a fic I read some years ago. Can't remember the author or the title.
Buffy is turned into a stone statue (by the immortal, if I remember correctly) and noone can hear her (I think). Somehow she ends up in Angels care at the Hyperion (I belive) and placed in some garden. Now, and I may get this confused with another fic, but I think Spike gets reborn in this fic as a human baby. And Buffy gets to see him grow up in her statue-state. Don't recall if Angel had shanshu'd and if Spike's his baby or not. And I think it's Spike who figures it all out (Buffy being alive inside the statue and getting her back to normal) but I could be wrong.
Ringing any bells for anyone?
Would be ever so grateful, cause the thing I remember most is that it was beautifully written and is a great story.
