The fic takes place after both series ended and Spike is living in an apartment alone. Buffy and Dawn find out where and come up with a plan to win him back by being sweet and loving to him, even when he's awful to them.
They show up wherever he's at and just act like everything's fine, once when he's walking a dog I think and when he's out to dinner with someone. At one point Dawn gets discouraged and Buffy reminds her to stick to the plan. They get in a car accident at some point, Dawn is hurt but Buffy I think is in ICU. Spike regrets being cruel and Angel yells at him saying something like "Are you happy now, boy? Has she paid enough?" |
